R4R Single Airmen: UAF Large Animal Research Station Tour

This trip is R4R open to Single Airmen stationed at Eielson AFB. If you sign up for the trip and do not fall under this category, you will not be permitted to participate in the trip. We will be checking IDs upon checking in at the Raven's Nest the morning of.

Take a trip with Outdoor Rec for a one hour tour of UAF's Large Animal Research Station (LARS).  LARS has a broad mission to support research, education, and outreach on Alaskan animals. It is a 130 acre facility currently housing muskoxen and reindeer but is also periodically home to other large animals.

$5 per person includes transportation, tour, and offers the opportunity to get to know some new people and explore the local area. Participants must be 18 or older. Trip will be cancelled if temperature is below -20. Sign up by stopping by the Raven's Nest to ensure you qualify for this trip. Sign up by April 8.
