Nenana Tripod Days Festival Day Trip

Take a trip with Outdoor Recreation to Nenana, Alaska to take in the local annual Tripod Days Festival. Watch the raising of the famous Nenana Ice Classic Tripod! The Nenana Ice Classic has been a tradition in Alaska since 1917. Visit www.nenanaakiceclassic.com to watch the webcam and listing of the schedule of activities. 

Meet us at Raven's Nest parking lot at 7:45am so we can leave promptly at 8am. We will arrive back at Raven's Nest approximately at 5pm. Must be 8 years or older to participate. 

$10 per person cost covers round trip transportation to and from Nenana. Dress warm as many events are outside. Bring snacks and water. For more info, please call 669-2537. 

This event will follow current Base Mandates for group size and health precautions. Social distancing, mask wearing, and sanitation are in place when needed. Masks must be worn in the vehicle, no exceptions.
