Become a Contracted Youth Sports Coach

We are looking for experienced and motivated coaches to lead monthly youth sports camps focused on teaching fundamental skills.

Coaches may teach sports such as basketball, soccer, football, volleyball, hockey, and more (sports are not set and may vary by month). Each sport would be offered as a 4-week camp, with skills scaffolded to progress over the month. A sample format includes one sport taught over four weeks, with 2–3 evening sessions between 5–7 PM or 5–8 PM, and one-hour sessions per age group.

Coaches will work with youth ages 5–18 and must meet all requirements, including fingerprinting, background checks, NAYS training, Air Force annual training, and proof of liability insurance. A different sport would be offered each month.

CYPBMS Registration

CYPBMS is a Department of Defense (DoD) information system. It is designed for parents to have one account, Air Force wide, with an easy transition from installation to installation. This parent account will be used for all registration and payment processing for all Child & Youth Programs (CYP).

New users, please call our front desk staff for details on creating an account in CYPBMS prior to logging in to the Parent Portal.

Become a Volunteer Youth Sports Coach

Volunteer coaches are the backbone of the Youth Sports program. Volunteering is a wonderful way to give back to the Eielson community and provide mentorship to young athletes as they grow into the sport.

Our Youth Sports program focuses on the fundamentals of each sport, teamwork, and building positive friendships. We are always looking for coaches to volunteer their time to be a part of our sports seasons.

All of our coaches are certified by the National Association for Youth Sports, a program that covers coaching responsibilities, appropriate practices, Code of Conduct & Ethics, and sports injury & safety.
