We supply everything you need to outfit your Alaskan adventures & parties! Outdoor Recreation has an office in the summer at Bear Lake on Transmitter Rd and during the winter, the Bear Lake office is open during the week with Iceman Falls Lodge open on Saturdays.
Your adventure starts here—year-round! From skis, snowboards, and ice huts in winter to tents, kayaks, trailers, and fishing gear in summer, we’ve got everything you need for the ultimate outdoor experience.
Base Trails
Eielson has multiple cross-country ski trails of different difficulty. The Parcours trail is a beginners course. The Iceman Falls Lodge system transverses hilly terrain and has intermediate and advanced trail systems. You can also find a cross-country ski track behind the Fitness Center and behind the dorms when comditions are favorable, thanks to the Natural Resource Office.
Disc Golf Course
Located next to the Natural Resource Office, Bldg 2160 are the first 2 holes of the disc golf course. Drive across the slough to Arctic Ave and Manchu Rd to continue playing all 9 holes.
Hunting & Fishing
The Natural Resource Office can assist with fishing, hunting, and trapping regulations & maps on Eielson and the surrounding area. A reference library and native animals are on display.
